An American style drive in cinema was held at Lightwoods Park on 14 September 2012. 
Around 500 cars arrived to watch the film ‘Grease’ which was projected onto a huge 40 feet high blow up screen.
It is thought that at least 1,200 people were there to see it.
The event , organised by Friends of Lightwoods Park, was rated a great success.
