Birmingham’s famous statue of three industrialists Matthew Boulton, James Watt and William Murdoch has been returned to Centenary Square. It was removed from outside the Register Office in 2017 during the construction phase of the Midland Metro.  Now located nearer to Symphony Hall the statue will catch the sun and the gold leaf with glisten, highlighting the role played by the industrial pioneers in the development of Birmingham.
