Doorstep History Programme 62 | November 2022

In March 1918, Sec Lt Kenneth Wastell of the Royal Flying Corps, from Ladywood, Birmingham lost his life in a tragic flying accident when his plane hit a church spire at St Ives in East Anglia.  He was only 19 years old and he gave his life for his country without ever flying over enemy territory. We Will Remember Him.
