25 years ago at Easter 1989 the Queen visited St Philip’s Cathedral on Colmore Row to distribute the Maundy Money. This is special coinage which the monarch distributes to retired people in recognition of their service to the church. Ladywood School News (now TNT News) compiled this special report.
