Last old style Metro tram taken out of service
Lois and AJ were delighted to travel on the last ever journey made by one of the Metro’s original trams. TNT travelled from Snow Hill to the Wednesbury depot and found out about the replacement trams.
Commonwealth Relay Baton reaches Birmingham
The Queen’s Relay Baton passed through Birmingham on its way to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. TNT News caught up with former swimming champion Adam Ruckwood, the man who carried the baton, and we also spoke to the Lord Mayor of Birmingham.
Progress at Coffin works
Work is progressing at the former Newman Bros. Coffin Furniture Works on Fleet Street, Birmingham. The Victorian building is currently being restored and will open as a museum in August next year.
