So far 2014 has been really wet and mild. This time last year we were experiencing freezing conditions. TNT moved to a new studio in an igloo! It was a state of the art purpose built new studio erected in the grounds of Oratory School! Remember this?
Chamberlain Gardens Improvements
Work is underway to make improvements to the parkland and open space at Chamberlain Gardens. People who live and work in the area would like to see better benches, improved play equipment and repairs to paths. A consultation meeting was held at the Deaf Centre and TNT was there.

Longest Christmas Cracker Chain in the World!
749 people in a line at Brindleyplace all pulled a cracker at the same time, and BANG! They cracked the world record for most people in the ‘World’s Longest Christmas Cracker Pulling Chain’. The previous record chain was made up of 603 people, so Birmingham easily broke the record.
Coffin Works to be featured on BBC1

Local school launches radio station
Media studies students at St Paul’s School for Girls have started their own internal radio station. We went along to see the first broadcast which featured Matt Henry. He has appeared on the BBC TV programme The Voice.
Progress at Coffin works
Work is progressing at the former Newman Bros. Coffin Furniture Works on Fleet Street, Birmingham. The Victorian building is currently being restored and will open as a museum in August next year.

William McGregor and the Football League
